Let's cultivate
ecological intelligence.

At Seeds and Deeds, we see a mindful relationship with nature as the first step toward a meaningful life.

We are a regenerative eco-enterprise rooted in Shunya Farm, a 13-year-old permaculture space in Bir, Himachal Pradesh. Through our services—FARM, EAT, STAY, and LEARN—we bring you hands-on farming experiences, fresh farm-to-table meals, seasonal stays, and residential courses that help you reconnect with the earth and your self.

We believe that
farming can do
more than feed us

— it can regenerate the planet, strengthen communities, and offer a profound reconnection to nature.

Our farm began as a humble experiment in soil restoration and ecological living. Over the years, Shunya Farm has grown into a thriving regenerative space guided by permaculture principles—where local biodiversity is nurtured, hands-on learning thrives, and visitors get to slow down and savour farm-grown food.

Come, relish the journey
from seed to plate!

There are many beautiful ways to experience our farm grown food—all rooted in the soil and served in our heritage home.

You can collect weekly harvests to take home, spend a day immersed in a Farm-to-Fork Expedition where you work the land, learn about permaculture, and share a meal you helped gather, or simply sit down at our table and enjoy a lovingly cooked meal fresh from our fields and kitchen hearth.

Stay in history,
immerse in nature.

Seeds and Deeds offers a unique opportunity to stay in a lovingly preserved 75-year-old heritage home, nestled within the serene and abundant grounds of Shunya Farm in Bir, Himachal Pradesh.

This charming, rustic stay is more than just a place to rest—it’s a space to immerse yourself in the gentle rhythms of farm life, where each day unfolds slowly, intentionally, and in harmony with nature.

Through the year Seeds and Deeds offers courses and programs designed for those who learn best by doing, observing, and living the change they seek.

We offer short-term workshops, long-term residential courses, and hands-on mentorship in regenerative farming, permaculture design, herbalism, and self-reliance.

Whether you're digging your first garden bed, starting your own farm, or exploring circular systems of living, every experience here is grounded in real-world practice.

Regenerative living,
transformative learning

"As an architect on a sabbatical, my experience on the farm helped me to reconnect with soil. This connection was the natural course for me to understand earth as a natural building material in the future. The in depth indigenous knowledge shared by the team was a great learning that helped me design a permaculture farm later."

Ashita,

While spending time at farm, I realised the importance of living a natural life. For me, natural life is about working with body and working on body. It is also about living a green life. Healthy habits are something I want to focus on and spending time at the farm showed me the how and why of it.

Exposure to organic farming helped me concretise many of the theories I'd been exposed to till then. How kids around the farm learnt so much by 'doing' gave me models of how to actively engage kids in the community work. I carried back the simplicity of it all.
